MOVING BEYOND SUMMIT – becoming fully human in times of transformation

“To be human is to become visible

while carrying what is hidden as a gift to others.

What shape waits in the seed of you

to grow and spread its branches

against a future sky?” – David Whyte

No doubt, we are living in turbulent times. Times of uncertainty and pressure. Times that bring forth the urgency of long-needed changes that can shift the course of modern society. These times require our full presence, commitment and participation. These times invite us strongly to leave behind our small and ego-centric stories and step into our full potential and sacred destiny. This way we can create actions that enhance life and create harmony with the Earth.

“Moving Beyond Summit” is an online event, which intends to be a stone placed at the foundation of a mature, authentic and sustainable society. The Summit is a space for learning and discovery, where ideas and concepts about holistic human development, nature based learning, positive psychology are explored and integrated. A space where connections are made and resources are shared, where inspiration and empowerment are infused with practical activities which can support those who attend the event, in becoming more competent and resilient beings.

At the core of this Summit is the intention of informing and inspiring those who participate to step into their bigger life stories, for living more meaningfully and being more connected with the Earth.

“Moving Beyond Summit” consists of four online webinars, of 90 minutes each. Each webinar is presented by a professional who has relevant knowledge and experience in the given topics. Below you can see a brief description of the webinars and of the speakers.

“Moving Beyond Summit” is a free online event. Anyone who is interested can register and participate.

The four webinars are:

11th of May / 19.00-20.30 EEST – Finding the lost paths in a fragmented world

Speakers: Bogdan Romanică, Eleni Michail, Ognian Gadoularov

Description: An introductory webinar in which the speakers explore and present ideas about the mainstream human development approaches in the modern consumerist society and the current ecological situation. Also, important links with the following webinars will be made.

14th of May / 19.00-20.30 EEST – The Way of Nature: discovering our natural roots

Speaker: Ognian Gadoularov (Bulgaria)

Description: Disconnection from Nature in today’s human development (from early childhood up to elderhood) is recognized as a source of many physical and psychological conditions. Two of them are disrespecting the environment and feeling distant from all the living beings on Earth. How can we regain our innate sense of belonging in the more-than-human-world?

15th of May / 19.00-20.30 EEST – Having Soul and Nature in the centre of our lives: the Ecocentric Developmental Wheel

Speaker: Bogdan Romanică (Romania)

Description: The Ecocentric/Soulcentric Developmental Wheel is a model of human development crafted by Bill Plotkin, in which Soul and Nature occupy the central place. This model offers inspiring and practical guidelines for cultivating wholeness and community in a fragmented world. A road map for an ideal, but possible way of living, through which Earth and humans can flourish.

16th of May / 19.00-20.30 EEST – Remembering the wisdom of the heart: exploring Positive Psychology

Speaker: Eleni Michail (Cyprus)

Description: The understanding of happiness is many times replaced with the concept of consuming endlessly material goods, food, products, or even the very foundation of our existence; Human and Earth. In this context, Positive Psychology unearths all those ancient wisdoms and paradigms on how to lead a life rooted in true happiness, gratitude, flow, meaning and love.

About the speakers:
