Every organization is brought together by a cause, a service, a passion. This is also how Dreams for Life came together, to guide and empower people to find and follow their true meaning in life. Since 2011, the year the organization was founded, we got pretty good at working with people and the road to amazing results was right in front of us.
But we were not perfect and one of our missing pieces was a great website, through which we could transmit to the world our messages, our dreams and hopes. Honestly I was not very proud of our old website, because we knew that the organization is great, but the website didn’t transmit this.
In 2015 we received an unexpected call, from a dear friend of mine, who told me that Dreams for Life was selected by a group of people from Evozon, to make a brand new website for us. My friend told me that in this way Evozon will contribute with their passions and services to the needs of the local organizations. They want to contribute to the world with what they do best, just like Dreams for Life does. Their initiative was called Code for a Cause. I think it sounds very inspiring.
Hearing this, I was super happy, because our wish (need) was heard by the Universe and soon we will have a great site. The process of developing the website started somewhere in May 2015 and ended in the summer of 2016. A pretty long process, I would say. Sometimes I thought that it was too long, but actually it took the right time. During that year, Dreams for Life went through some strategic changes which made us a little confused about how the website should look like. We wanted to have a good match between who we are and what we communicate to the world. In the moment when Dreams for Life established all the details about the new strategic approach, a new Evozon team was ready to take the website and complete it.
It was a perfect timing. We knew who we are, what we want and the new team could offer us what we needed. So, the result was … the perfect website for us. I could not wait anymore to launch it and show it to other people. Few more weeks, for final adjustments and the website was ready. This moment synchronized with the moment when we made the official presentation film of the organization, which we included in the home page. Wow, finally it’s up, and the visitors are coming.
Through this website the quality of Dreams for Life increased and we are ready to work with more enthusiasm for our inspiring vision. It was a great experience, to see how different people, with different passions, are contributing with what they know and do best. This is a great example which gives me hope for a better future.
