The Art of Women and Men Circles booklet and video

Since December 2022 until March 2024 Dreams for Life was part of the project “WO(MEN) Empowerment”. The project was coordinated by Fundacja Wyobraź sobie from Poland and the project was co-financed by the European Union, through the Erasmus+ Programme, under the Adult Education sector.

Within this project we exchanged our experiences of working with men (Dreams for Life) and women (Fundacja Wyobraź sobie) and we offered various activities for adult learners from both countries, such as: 12 online English workshops, 6 offline circles for men in Romania and for women in Poland as well as 6 international circles online for women and 6 for men run by trainers from both partner organisations. In September 2023 we met together – men and women from Poland and Romania – in the Polish mountains for a 5-day mobility to see how we can relate to each other and get empowered together. In November 2023 we met again to prepare participants of a 5-day training in Romania to the role of facilitator of circles and other kinds of activities designed for men and women.

By supporting the work with women and men, the experts of the two organizations have developed an educational resource, a booklet which serves as a guide for facilitators and a video with direct ideas and insigths into the work with women and men.COVER BOOKLET

Containing theoretical input, specific practices and activities, suggestions and an extended list of resources, this booklet can be a beneficial resource for women and men who want to offer educational and learning experiences that contribute to the empowerment of men and women, under the frame of women and men circles.

The material was created by three experts from the two partner organizations:

  • Anna Książek – trainer, coach, activist, and storyteller, one of the co-founders of the ExChange the World initiative.
  • Bogdan Romanică – human development guide, trainer, and mentor, the founder of Dreams for Life and Men of the Earth.
  • Andrea Pucci – chemist, researcher and permaculturist, one of the co-founders of the ExChange the World initiative.

The guide booklet is accessible and available for free and can be downloaded at this link.

We encourage you to explore it, use it and share it among your networks.
